Once I received my college degree in landscape architecture, I was more than ready to move back home and join the newly formed family business. What I wasn’t ready for, was to be swept off my feet. Or more accurately, almost knocked on my ass by a handsome stranger. I definitely wasn’t ready for the surprises that came along with him. 

Surprises are like flowers, a beautiful addition to a garden, ones that will bring you joy and enhance your life. While others are like thorny weeds, only meant to cause harm.

Flowers and weeds. Both take work, but if you persevere, you’ll get to see the beauty when love grows.
